Coco Raspberry stained
on the wine glass
Of her favorite rosé champagne
She’s complemented by
the rays of the sun
Shining through her window
While her smile begins to show.
It never been as peaceful like this
God saved her life so many times
That her daughter would not flourish
That her son would not prosper
That her children could not show her
The beautiful spirit she was born with
You can find behind her camera lens
Speaking a prayer with silent candles
Laughing to her favorite game shows
Or just listening.
She’s never been absent
But not perfect
Just like every mother in the world
She welcomes to be taught
And not just teach.
She remains a queen
Through all the cuts
That failed to stop her.
And I love her so.
Happy Mother’s Day.
